Item Planners

Item Planners are created in the Inventory Maintenance menu and assigned to parts via the Item Master General 1 tab. This field acts as a pre-filter for many inventory reports, allowing planners to view only their assigned items across various categories.

While an item can only have one assigned planner, the Item Planners list itself is unlimited. Additionally, system permissions can restrict users to viewing only the items associated with their specific Item Planner.

Name

Unique planner name (person or role).

Active

If checked, record is active.

Default

If checked, the selected Item Planner will be the default when adding new items via Item Master.
